Celebration of World Children`s Day and Elder`s Day – 01.10.2022

Celebration of World Children`s Day was held in Dehiwala National Zoo from 8.30a.m. – 5.00p.m. on 1^st of October 2022 with the participation of the Secretary of the Ministry of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation, Mrs. R.M.C.M. Herath and the staff of the ministry and also with more than seventy five thousand of children and adults. The highest income of Department of National Zoological Gardens so far was reported on this day. It was Rs.5,080,377.68 inclusive of ticket sales and other income.
